Good Night, States
Amazing indie rockers Good Night, States are about to release their first studio album, Short Films on Self-Control. The album can be purchased as an early release on their website but will be officially debut on Saturday February 9, 2008 at Club Cafe. If February 9th is just too far away on the calendar for you; you can check out this great band this friday, January 11th as they perform a show at Brillobox at 9:30.
I got to check out their new album yesterday, and I have to admit it is guaranteed to make this band successful. The songs are extremely catchy, joyful, and will leave you singing along. Indie rock has become very popular over the years and is getting featured in more films all the time (e.g. Juno). If Good Night, States were featured in a film they would most likely gain the same boost The Shins saw from their exposure in Garden State. But don’t just take my word for it! Check out the band and listen to their music and decide for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
